To view and analyze the results of your scans, go to picketa.com and click on the “login” button on the top right-hand side of your screen. Log into your account using the same credentials you use to log in to the LENS Desktop Application.
When you first log in you will see any Farms that you’ve created. Click on the Farm and Field that you’d like to view. This will take you to the data page for that field.
Viewing the Data
On the left side of your screen, you will see the list of 13 nutrients that Picketa Systems analyzes. You can click on any of these nutrients, and it will change the graph on the right to display the trends over time for that nutrient. The nutrient that is highlighted in blue is the nutrient that the graph is currently displaying data for. All these numbers displayed for each nutrient is associated with the date above. For example, in the photo above, the Nitrogen levels were at 4.85% on September 1st, 2022. To change the sample date you are looking at, use the arrows under the date. Clicking on the right arrow will display the data of the next sample date and clicking on the arrow on the left will display the data of the previous sample date. The sample dates will also let you know how many days it has been since emergence. This is calculated based on your planting date.
The menu icon in the top left-hand side of the screen will take you back to your list of fields. Right beside that is the map icon which will give you an aerial view of your farm and surrounding fields. While in this view, if you click on one of the other fields at the farm, it will take you directly to the data for that field. If your fields are not in proximity to each other, you can use the drop down on the top right-hand side of the screen to select the field you’d like to view, and the map will automatically center that field. You may also want to view a completely different farm by using the drop-down on the top-center of the screen. To return to the data of the previous page, select the specific field.
The two icons below allow you to choose whether you’d like to view the data in the Trends View (default view), which means you can see the data points on a graph, or the Heatmap View, which gives you a visual of the field’s nutrient contents in each location on the field using the legend colours.
The data page will automatically display the results for the first sample location you created for the field when you initially land on the page. To view the results for a different sample location, use the “Filter by Tag” drop-down menu. This will display all the sample locations and allow you to choose which data you’d like to view. If you’d like to see a range of data for all the sample locations, select the “RANGE” option. If you’d like to see the data points for each sample date at each sample location at the same time, select “ALL”.
The right side of the data analysis page displays a graph of the scan information. The traditional view of the graph displays colours that correlate the appropriate levels you want or don’t want your nutrients to fall under. If you don’t want to see these recommended levels, you can change the graph view from “Traditional” to “None” just below the date. This will remove the colours on the graph.
The legend at the top of the graph correlates with the colours on the graph and describes what level each colour represents. The aim is to keep your nutrient levels in or close to the sufficient or green range. Click on the eye icon if you do not want to see the legend.
The Black line on the graph represents the Picketa scan results. Each point on the black line represents a different scanning date. To see which date each dot is associated to, look at the x-axis of the graph or hover over the point to see a pop-up of the exact date and nutrient level.
The “Display Lab” checkbox will only be available to you if you have submitted any lab results to us for comparison. When this box is checked, it will display the Lab results alongside the Picketa results.
The grey vertical bar on the graph tells you which sampling date you are currently displaying the data for on the left side of the screen. To view the data for a different date, you can click anywhere near that point to move the grey bar and display the associated data. At any time, you can use the dropdowns on the top-center of the page to change the Farm or Field data that you are viewing.
